Product Development

At STARFLEET ENTERPRISES product design and development support begins with our customers-- their needs and how their products work.  Fit and function of our molded parts are given careful consideration and testing to insure product satisfaction. Our experience in the molding industry tells us that quality solutions require careful consideration of a material's properties, its flexibility, durometer, tensile strength, compatibility, temperature range, physical appearance, etc.

For the most cost effective and timely response, we prefer a 3D CAD model of your part. If you do not already have a CAD model, then we can model your part as required.  We will need a sketch, drawing, sample part or prototype.

Tooling

Our mold makers and independent contractors all contribute to provide a quality product for all of STARFLEET ENTERPRISES customers.

BY utilizing modern CAD systems and quality contracted tool builders STARFLEET ENTERPRISES can design, build MUD, our insert molds with straight pull cavities  and produce sample first run parts in as little as 10 working days.  Built from P20 or high strength aircraft aluminum these tools can produce quality parts while allowing you to bring your products to market before your competition.

We turn your sketches, drawings, samples or 3D CAD files into usable, sellable products for a fraction of rapid prototyping and conventional tooling costs. Our  prices are possible because we machine aluminum or P20 inserts that work in our existing mold bases, eliminating much of the cost of producing a mold. We then mold as few as 100 or as many as 100,000 parts from your mold insert.

Production Capabilities

STARFLEET ENTERPRISES serves all types if markets from Paint Ball gun manufactures and specialty vehicles to the recreational vehicle, cargo trailer, and marine markets.

We have the the auxiliary equipment needed to process a wide range of materials. From ABS, ACETYL, HIPS, HDPE, LDPE, NYLON (all grades), POLYCARBONATE, PVC, STYRENE, TPE, and TPO  materials STARFLEET can process the proper material need for you job.

With 10 presses ranging from 24 ton to 360 tons STARFLEET is capable of producing quality parts on your existing tooling. We make switching your supplier easier than you ever though possible.
